Clear aligners
Clear aligners are a series of transparent, removable trays that move your teeth step by step into a straight, even smile, without wires or metal brackets. In Dr. Nabeel Al Nahhas's words, they are the solution for an orderly smile without embarrassment. He plans your treatment digitally from a scan of your teeth, and as a prosthodontist he combines straightening with veneers, crowns or whitening when you want a complete new smile.

How treatment runs
Free consultation
A digital X-ray, photographs and an examination of your teeth and bite.
Digital scan and plan
Your teeth are scanned and the movement is planned on the computer, from where they are now to the final smile.
Your aligners
You receive your series of clear aligners and move to the next set on schedule. Each set moves the teeth a little further.
Check-ups
Short visits keep the treatment on track, and Dr. Nabeel checks every stage.
Retainers
When your teeth reach their new position, retainers keep the smile straight.
Clear aligners or veneers?
Clear aligners
Move your own teeth into line. Ideal when the teeth are healthy and the problem is their position.
Veneers
Change the shape and colour of the teeth. Ideal for chips, stains and small gaps, and the finishing step after aligners when you want a new shape or shade.
Getting the best result from your aligners
- Wear your aligners all day and night, taking them out only to eat and to brush.
- Brush your teeth before putting the aligners back in, and rinse the aligners clean.
- Move to each new set on the schedule Dr. Nabeel gives you.
- Wear your retainers as advised, so your new smile stays straight for good.
Common questions
Can people see clear aligners?
No. The trays are transparent and fit closely over your teeth, so you smile, talk and work as usual.
Can I eat normally?
Yes. You take the aligners out to eat and drink anything other than water, then brush and put them back in.
Do aligners hurt?
No. With each new set you feel light pressure for a day or two, which is the sign that your teeth are moving.
Can aligners be combined with veneers or whitening?
Yes. Many patients straighten first and then finish with whitening or veneers. As a prosthodontist, Dr. Nabeel plans the whole smile from the start.
How much do clear aligners cost?
The consultation is free and includes a digital X-ray, and Dr. Nabeel gives you your plan and its cost in writing.
